The Green Energy Institute's™ mission is to build awareness, educate and actively mobilize the adoption of environmentally friendly energy solutions – including renewable/green, demand management and conservation – resulting in job creation community by community.
As a consortium of the brightest talent across a cross section of disciplines, our more than 150 years combined experience has resulted in a focus on three core competencies.
EDUCATION
The concepts of Sustainability and Green Energy are simple, yet the attainment of goals related to them is complex. We understand the barriers to action are often related to a lack of understanding of the “how and why” we need to adopt a new social and corporate mind set. We create effective marketing and educational programs to overcome these barriers. The programs can be designed to educate entire communities, inclusive of residential and commercial owners, municipal employees, students , job seekers and more.
ACTION
We realize that the limited resources of many organizations has hindered to progress in the areas of energy conservation and sustainability. While the limitations often seem to be primarily financial in nature, lack of manpower and expertise also play major role. The Green Energy Institute™ has helped its clients by providing the expertise necessary to successfully implement our clients projects. As is the case in energy conservation, our experience in understand the strategies to maximize the available rebates and minimize the impact on the organization’s staff has led to some “zero upfront capital” projects that are projected to deliver energy savings of up to 20%.
Our turnkey 5 phase project approach is designed to take boardroom commitments to actual implementation, ranging from basic lighting conservation to the installation of renewable energy sources. All of this is done with an eye on the financial impact and ROI for the client.
JOBS
The US Government estimate that for every $93,000 spent on Green Energy project another job is created. These Green Jobs come from all areas in the related industries; auditors, installers, manufacturers, educators and engineers are all need to complete these projects. Regardless of its size every project contributes to the creation of these jobs.
